- Kathleen SMy first time at Brickbottom Studios was about 8 years ago. My friend Wally Gilbert has an art studio there. In 1980 he won a Nobel Prize for developing one of the first methods to rapidly sequence DNA. Wally ran a laboratory at Harvard University. Wally also founded 2 companies Biogen and Myriad.Since he has retired from becoming a great Artist. Using a 2 megapixel camera Wally Gilbert started taking Pictures of colorful objects and architectural features that caught his eye throughout Europe. In art and science Wally craves discovering something new. I highly recommend you check out Wally’s fabulous art!!!
- Matt BGreat open studios. I've actually bought some original art her before. There are lots of artisy studios, great to be able to speak to the artists that make the work.
- Brian SWe were residents for a time. What a wonderful experience! Cheers to the artists and the staff.
